PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Fresno, California. My father owned and operated Peters Flower Shop on Kearney Blvd.  We had a small flower farm where we grew Dahlias and Chrysanthemums.  My father wholesaled Dahlias to other florists.  The large blooms "make-up" quickly.

Photographer, doing business as Color Unlimited.
I built my own color processing lab in the back of our house on upper Kahaloa Drive in Manoa Valley. One assigment was to take professional photographs of the Boyoden Temple on the windward side of Oahu.  I waitied for the sun to clear the Ko'olau mountains. As light rain showers moved on, I finally got a good shot on the forth day.

Noe Valley, San Francisco, California
I rented a flat on Noe at Alverado, with several other young friends and did a lot of hiking, camping and backpacking with the Sierra Singles. After some leadership training I became a bike leader. I like single track of road bike riding.

After a brief stay in Rockridge in the East Bay, We rented an apartment in a new building on the top of 25th Street and got married. It was here that I invented a roller skate back brake for quad skates.  I sold productin rights to Sure Grip Skates.

We bought a house. I bought Brookline Electric for $40K in 1994 and merged it with my own 17-year old Aries Electric Co. We became Brookline Aries Electric. I liked the name Aries Electric Co., but it had kind of a hippie tone so we started doing business as Brookline Electric.
