I built my own color processing lab in the back of our house on upper Kahaloa Drive in Manoa Valley. Once I took some professional photographs of the Boyoden Temple on the other side of Oahu, waiting for the sun to clear the Ko'olau mountains. As light rain showers moved on, I finally got a good shot.

Rented flat with other young folks, did a lot of hiking, camping and backpacking. After some leadership training I became a bike leader. I like single track bike riding.

After a brief stay in Rockridge in the East Bay, I rented an apartment in a new building on the top of 25th Street. I married my wife, and also invented a roller skate back brake.

We bought a house. I bought Brookline Electric for $40K in 1994 and merged it with my own 17-year old Aries Electric Co. We became Brookline Aries Electric. I liked the name Aries Electric Co., but it had kind of a hippie tone so we started doing business as Brookline Electric.
